Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS)
Does your building require an Annual Fire Safety Statement? PYRA Compliance is accredited (under the FPAS Accreditation Scheme) in ALL fire safety measures and can assist.
Fire Safety Certificate (FSC)
From 13 February 2027, only an accredited person(s) can certify newly installed fire safety measures. Until then, the building owner is relying on a certificate to ensure that the newly installed fire safety measure is installed by a 'properly qualified person'. PYRA Compliance can issue a Fire Safety Certificate on behalf of the owner, and at the same time, utilise our expertise to vet the installation of the incumbent contractor to ensure the fire safety measure complies.
AS 1851 Compliance Audit
Is your building compliant to AS 1851-2012? Did you know that as of 13 February 2026, buildings must have their essential fire safety measures tested in accordance with AS 1851-2012? It is now the responsibility of the builder owner to ensure their building meets the requirements of this standard. Failure to comply with AS 1851-2012 may result in significant financial penalties for the building owner. PYRA Compliance can operate as a third party to carry out a detailed AS 1851 Compliance Audit to ensure the requirements of AS 1851-2012 are being met.
